Onboard - Tourism Operator's Handbook for the Great Barrier Reef

What you do

glass_boat

Visitors to the Great Barrier Reef are looking for a wide range of experiences. Almost all of them are motivated by an interest in seeing the Great Barrier Reef, learning about nature, being in a natural place and experiencing something new and different. It is the 'how' and 'where' they experience the Reef that varies greatly. Some like to come with family and friends, others like to meet new people; some are seeking excitement, others want to rest and relax; some are looking to learn new skills and others are simply seeking to escape their normal routine.

Over the years, a range of tourism products has gradually developed to meet the expectations of visitors to the Reef. Click on the titles to learn more about what you can do in your type of operation
